Rubble Rumble
A golem, fighting another golem, on a platform held by yet another, much larger, golem.
Rubble Rumble is a fast-paced and accessible 2 player versus fighting game with a friendly atmosphere.
It was developed as a school project by 3 first year game design students in 4 months. We had to make a 2D fighting game on Construct 3.
The goal is to eject the opponent out of the screen. In order to accomplish this, you will have to learn the subtleties of the movement tools at your disposal and make use of it to surprise your opponent by attacking from an unexpected angle.
Controls :
- D-Pad OR Left Stick - Left/Right : Run
- D-Pad OR Left Stick - Down : Fastfall
- A : Jump
- X : Attack
- Y (while in the air) : Groundpound
- LB/RB : Dash
- Start button : Pause menu (you can find the controls and the full credits there)
Holding the Left Stick or a D-Pad button also gives a direction to attacks and dashes.
The dash makes you invulnerable for a short duration. It also allows you to cancel your groundpound during the descent.
The down attack is the only one that can hit and stop a player during their dash.
